$300-500
Provenance: Property from the Estate of Murphy A. Bourke, New Orleans, Louisiana.
Condition:Condition is consistent with age. The portrait exhibits craquelure to paint, particularly on areas with white oil paint. Some paint has adhered to glass in various areas, most likely due to the surface painting still being wet before placing on top of artwork. A restorer would be able to clean this up. Minor frame loss on borders. Additionally, moisture looks to be visible in some parts of painting.
The landscape with surface dirt, particularly along the top. Varnish has yellowed with age and would benefit from a cleaning. Frame separation and loss on all 4 corners. The top middle of frame has a previous repair made of wax, which has been smooshed. Minor losses to gilding throughout.
